Chain Wise Logistics collects information necessary to move shipments, process payments, and comply with legal requirements. This includes:

• Contact information: Name, email, phone number, shipping and billing addresses

• Shipment details: Origin, destination, package weight, dimensions, contents description (excluding unnecessary personal data)

• Payment information: Billing details processed through PCI-compliant partners. Full payment card numbers are never stored internally.

• Tracking data: GPS location, temperature readings, handoff timestamps, proof-of-delivery images

• Account credentials: Username, hashed password, login history

• Communication records: Support tickets, email correspondence, chat logs

For pet transport, additional health and veterinary information is collected solely for regulatory compliance and animal safety. For discreet freight, no unnecessary content descriptions are retained beyond what customs or safety regulations require.

• To coordinate pickup, transport, and delivery of shipments

Marketing communications are sent only with explicit consent. Unsubscribe links appear in every promotional email.

Information Sharing

Chain Wise Logistics shares data only when necessary to complete shipments or comply with law:

• Carriers and handlers: Names, addresses, and shipment details required for transport

• Customs authorities: Contents, value, origin, destination, and consignee information

• Payment processors: Billing information (not login credentials)

• Legal compliance: When subpoenaed, court-ordered, or required for national security

No data is sold to third parties. No data is shared for advertising purposes. No data is traded.

Data Retention

• Shipment records: 7 years (regulatory and liability requirements)

• Tracking logs: 90 days

• Proof-of-delivery images: 365 days

• Account information: Until account deletion request

• Pet health records: 60 days post-delivery unless longer retention is required by law

• Discreet freight chain-of-custody logs: 180 days, then permanently anonymized

Your Rights

Depending on jurisdiction, clients may request:

• Access to stored personal data

• Correction of inaccurate information

• Deletion of data no longer required for legal or operational purposes

• Export of data in portable format

• Restriction of processing during dispute resolution

Requests are answered within 30 days. No fee for reasonable requests.

Essential cookies enable login and shipment tracking. Analytical cookies (optional) help improve dashboard performance. No marketing cookies are deployed without consent. Cookie preferences can be adjusted at any time from the account dashboard.

Children’s Privacy

Chain Wise Logistics does not knowingly collect information from individuals under 16. Pet transport and shipment services are arranged by adults. Any accidental collection is deleted upon discovery.

International Data Transfers

Shipments cross borders. Data may transfer to countries with different privacy laws. Chain Wise Logistics applies the same security and access controls regardless of data location. For EU clients, Standard Contractual Clauses govern transfers.

Changes to This Policy

Material changes are posted 30 days in advance via account notification and website banner. Minor updates are effective immediately with a revised “Last Updated” date.
